65 Sloan Street, Unit 3 | Roswell, Georgia 30075

Sometimes, real estate has a way of bringing things full circle.

Several years ago, I filmed a video exploring the history, architecture, and unique character of Historic Roswell, Georgia. During that production, I featured a remarkable residence at 65 Sloan Street.

At the time, I was sharing a piece of Roswell’s history and introducing viewers to one of the distinctive properties that make this community so special.

Fast-forward several years. That same residence is now UNDER CONTRACT - and I have the privilege of representing the buyers.

There’s something particularly satisfying about helping clients purchase a home in a community I’ve spent years exploring, studying, and sharing with others.

A Home Where History Meets Contemporary Living

Located in Founders Club Estates, 65 Sloan Street, Unit 3 is not your typical townhome.

Designed by architect Lew Oliver, whose work includes projects at Serenbe, this approximately 3,300-square-foot residence combines thoughtful modern design with elements that reflect Roswell’s architectural heritage.

The home offers three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and one half-bath, along with some especially distinctive features:

  • A dramatic spiral staircase that serves as an architectural focal point.

  • Beautiful reclaimed heart-pine flooring and historic building materials.

  • Soaring ceilings, generous natural light, and an expansive, open living space.

  • A contemporary kitchen designed for entertaining.

  • Inviting outdoor courtyards and convenient covered parking.

The home’s reclaimed materials and historic references connect it to the surrounding area’s past. But its appeal extends well beyond architecture.

Historic Roswell: It’s About the Lifestyle

One of the things I’ve always appreciated about Historic Roswell is its combination of history, character, and community.

From Sloan Street, buyers can enjoy nearby Canton Street restaurants and shops, Historic Roswell Square, and outdoor destinations such as Roswell Mill and Vickery Creek.

It’s a setting that offers something increasingly appealing to many buyers: the opportunity to enjoy restaurants, recreation, local businesses, and neighborhood life without always needing to get in the car.

For the right buyer, that combination can be every bit as important as a home’s square footage or finishes.

You’re not simply buying a home. You’re choosing how and where you want to live.

From Documenting Roswell to Helping Buyers Call It Home

What makes this transaction especially meaningful to me is the connection to my earlier video.

Years before representing these buyers, I was already interested enough in this property and its surroundings to feature them in a story about Historic Roswell.

Now I get to help clients make this remarkable residence part of their own story.

As a buyer’s agent, my responsibility extends beyond identifying attractive properties. It’s about helping clients evaluate their options, understand the trade-offs, navigate the transaction, and make decisions consistent with their priorities.

That’s particularly important when purchasing a distinctive property where architecture, historical elements, location, and lifestyle all influence the decision.

And while we’re under contract, there’s still work to be done before closing.

Revisit My Historic Roswell Video Series

Watch the Historic Roswell video series that first brought this home into my work on the area's history and architecture:

Behind Every Transaction Is a Transition

I’ve always believed that behind every real estate transaction is a transition.

Sometimes it’s a relocation. Sometimes it’s downsizing, retirement, or simply deciding that the next chapter of life calls for something different.

Whatever the circumstances, the objective is the same: helping people make thoughtful, informed decisions about where they want to live next.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent the buyers of this special Historic Roswell residence, and I look forward to guiding them through the remaining steps toward closing.

Considering a move to Roswell or North Atlanta?

Whether you’re relocating, downsizing, or searching for something architecturally distinctive, I’d welcome a conversation about what you’re looking for and how I can help you navigate the process.
